Call for links

I'd like to create a list of links to freelance writers who write, excusively or occasionally, for the education market. If you'd like to be included in this list, please email me with a link to your site or blog. I would like to post the list by the end of Sunday.

Thanks,
Laura

You can add me, if you like. I haven't done too much yet, but plan to write much more. You'll find most of my writing credits on my site: www.faith-filled.com

Who's the list intended for?

You can add me. I have written a number of essays about education that were in the newspapers and several that were published in national magazines. I think the teaching of poetry appreciation could seriously cut down on the school drop-out rate and enrich the lives of all students.

It is my hope that this blog will become a resource for writers looking for projects and for editors and publishers looking for writers. There is also the possibility of one writer having too many projects and needing help from another to meet all deadlines. That's why I want to create the list.

Also, if you would like me to add your site to the list, please either leave me your site address in the comment or email it to me directly.

Thanks,
Laura

Hi,
You can add me as well. I'm just getting my feet wet though with getting to know how to market is structured, but I am not new to education. You include both my blog and the website I write for as a link back to me.

Much thanks,
Dorit

I get most of my income from writing for the ed market, and I teach a beginners' class on it.

My blog is at http://laurasalas.livejournal.com/ and my site is at www.laurasalas.com.

Sorry--I just found your blog this morning, so I didn't make your Saturday deadline, obviously!

You can put me in, too:

Laura, thanks for this blog! Will you be adding more info about yourself? Link to website? Email? (Maybe those are only visible to people who sign up with Blogger?)

Please add me to the list. www.mindyhardwick.com.

Thank you.

Thanks for starting this, Laura.
Mara just directed me here, and I enjoy writing for the educational market, particularly science, so I'd liked to be included too.

Please forgive me if I do this wrong. I've not responded to blogs before and am pretty ignorant about how to do it. I couldn't find your email address, btw.

I'm definitely "into" the educational market--have had 33 books published and several articles. My doctorate is in education with an emphasis in math (which I'm sure you'd never guess by looking at my book list!).

My author website is
http://echristensen.atspace.com

Thanks for developing this site. Sorry I didn't find out about your call for resources in time for your Sunday post.

I'd be happy to be on your list. I'm a freelance writer and editor and have written for both consumer and educational markets. I'm at www.diane-bailey.com

Thanks for doing this, Laura. Sorry I'm late to the party, too. Did I miss all the cookies? :)

GREAT BLOG!

You can link to me too. I prefer writing passages to writing questions. Most of my experiene is younger reading levels K-3, but I've written science and reading passages for middle and high school and even test questions for professional tests (health care).

Mara,

Thanks for spreading the word about this blog. I updated my profile and included my email address. I hope to set up email subscription soon. My website is an almost-started work-in-progress. :D
