I'm glad Karen posted a great list yesterday as I can't do a full search this week. I'm busy writing for several projects, most of which I learned of from this blog, thanks again fellow blog posters!
I'll post one promising lead I learned of this week:
- Writer for Discovery Girls Magazine (articles and quizzes for girls ages 8-13)
-Beth L.

Hmmm... hard to complain about a free job listing blog, but this is pretty lame. Yes, thanks Karen for not disappointing us!
Well I've been doing this on a volunteer basis for over a year, usually finding many more leads than just the one I posted today. Sorry you're disappointed, but I really was too busy to do more this week. Feel free to do your own search.
Thanks Beth! I know that some weeks can be so busy as a freelancer. I appreciate your contributions to this blog.
Thank you Beth. Your leads are appreciated!
Yeah, I just think that if there's only time to find one thing, then it'd might as well be link to a resource that will be of more general interest. It just feels kinds of random to present a single listing for a girls' magazine.
Not complaining here; just giving out unsolicited and probably unwelcome advice. If you're trying to build site, expand your network, impress would-be clients, etc., then half measures might be counterproductive. Just saying.
Okay, I see your point Anonymous. I haven't missed a week in a long time, so I may skip it next time I'm too busy for a full search.
You never know, what one person finds lacking may be a great job opportunity for someone else. But I agree, more resources would be better for the majority of people.
Actually,
I think reposting this one was great, because if you go to their website, they don't even have it listed to submit. So I assume that typically they don't accept submissions. So, I'm glad you found this one and reposted it.
BTW...this is a great website and resource!
Not Lame! Thanks to the folks on the blog your time finding these positions is minimal. When it's free, why do some feel the need to criticize? Just lazy I guess.
