Were looking to add more talented writers who can meet deadlines and relate to readers without pandering or putting them down. Our readership consists of thoughtful, earnest, self-professed nerds who appreciate comedic talent. We are not interested in rants, personal anecdotes, or celeb gossip (though we love reading all that stuff in our spare time). This is a freelance, work from home, part-time position, and writers are paid per blog post. To apply, please read our blog at community.sparknotes.com and send ONE SAMPLE BLOG POST written in our style to comments@sparknotes.com. Please do not send old clips that have nothing to do with teens in lieu of your sample post. Also, please knock our socks off with a funny cover letter. Boring cover letters make us cry, so they will be deleted.
