Be careful with QBS!! They're great to work with, but their payments are late... way too late: I sent an invoice in mid-August that should've been paid in mid-October but it ended up being paid in late January. I also have two other outstanding invoices. You may want to ask for payments in advance.

thank you so much,
great blogs!

I completely agree with the original comment: checks are up to 6 months late.

I'm having the same problem and getting a lot of excuses that have nothing to do with me or why my payment is late. Has anyone reported them or taken them to small claims court? Also, I can't get anyone there to tell me the name of their CFO or CEO. I know it's currently in flux, but does anyone know? I can't even find it on their website!

It's even worse than C says. Due to a merger and a shortage of funds, these guys are defaulting on payments to freelancers. I will be surprised at this point to be paid at all. Let me be clear. This is not a dispute about whether the money is owed. It's about thousands of dollars for regular, approved, invoiced freelance work which they acknowledge they owe but will not pay.

I am having the same problem not receiving payment. I have recieved about 18% of my payments due in 3 miniscule payments. This was for work I did for them this past January-March.

Leaving this so others will see - this is the first company I have learned about here that does not pay after accepting and approving invoices.

I am owed thousands from work done in January and Feb.

This site has been a great resource for finding new clients! But, I would advise others to stay away from QBS.

Agree with previous posts. Do not work freelance for Q2A (now called QBS Learning). They owe me and several other freelancers thousands in unpaid invoices for accepted and approved work. We are all considering legal action.

I, too, have been owed several thousands of dollars for work done in early 2014. They did slowly pay up, but ten months later, I am still owed nearly a thousand dollars. If there are any class action suits in the works I would love to know about it.

I will never work for these crooks again. Ever.

was planning to work for them as their vendor.Seeing the comments, I am really reluctant to start work with them.
What do you all suggest--

The situation has not changed, as far as I can see. I am waiting on past-due payments and I know of a couple other freelancers still waiting, as well.
