Experienced Math Item Writers needed--grades 2-12. Must have a Math degree; teaching experience preferred. Must be familiar with CCSS, SBAC, and PARCC. Must be able to write MC, SCR, and ER items with rationales, rubrics, and art specs as needed. Must be tech-savvy enough to work comfortably in client's online CMS and Dropbox. All work done remotely.
Work will be consistent for next 10-12 months. Rates are $25-$30 per item.

Experienced Science K-12 Assessment Writers Needed (telecommute)
Our rapidly growing content development organization has an immediate need for science writers in grades K-12. We partner with educational publishers and educational institutions to create engaging and rigorous content.
Successful writing candidates will bring content area knowledge and a background in education, particularly assessment writing, to this position. Ideal candidates will have experience writing assessment material and working with Depth of Knowledge, Common Core, and Bloom's Taxonomy learning models in order to create rigorous material at varying levels of cognitive challenge.
Qualifications:
- science-related degree
- teaching experience in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8
- item writing experience
- available to write and respond to editorial requests about 2-5 hours per day
All work is completed virtually using the Google Drive platform and other content management systems. You will be asked to complete a writing sample that will be reviewed by a content area director. Compensation is $9-$50 per assessment item, depending on item type.
